UI Design ・ Branding
The challenge
After joining the team, we had several different products being used by users with varying visual and usability experiences, which ended up becoming a problem for the users.
Along with that, there was the difficulty for the stakeholders to prepare materials for the classes, as it was not known what the company's visual direction was.
Process
Alignment with stakeholders
The first step was to ensure that all stakeholders in the company were aligned with this visual change. We began the work by thoroughly understanding the issues that each area of the company was facing with the current brand.
There is no clear visual guidance for creating materials for the classes.
The current design is not targeted at Mooney's target audience.
Validation with users
After that, we felt the need to validate these changes with the users, as this would impact the company as a whole since it would be replicated across all products. To ensure this, an MVP was shown to the users presenting the new product and the new usability with the aim of gathering feedback and opportunities for improvements.
The feedback received was very positive, and the points for improvement were again discussed among the stakeholders and added to the final design.
New brand
Setting standards
After all these research and alignment sections with stakeholders, we began to define new standards for the brand, such as a new typography that can be used in various work environments and also a new color palette that can communicate the message that Mooney would like to convey.

Validating results
This project was the first step to improve the experience of Mooney users, but like any product, it is necessary to monitor metrics and deeply understand how these changes will impact people. A/B testing and usability testing are essential to ensure that the initial goals are achieved.
